Partner programme for business coaches and mentors Your clients' plans, no longer stuck on admin.

When a client's growth stalls on spreadsheets, quoting or reporting, introduce them to us. We build the system underneath, you see the impact of your coaching in their numbers, and you earn 15% of the build fee.

How everyone comes out ahead

For you

15% of every build you introduce. And live numbers that show the impact of your coaching, which makes the case for keeping you on.

For your client

The plan you agreed with them actually happens, because the admin underneath it runs without them. They own what we build.

For us

The build. An introduction from the coach a business owner already trusts is the best start a project can have.

How it fits together

You decide where the business is going, with the owner. We build what gets it there. Neither of us does the other's job.

Rather not take a referral fee?

That's fine. We'll donate your share to a charity of your choice, or to our recommended charity, the Village Projects Foundation, a UK registered charity (no. 1202332) supporting education in Ghana and Kenya. We work closely with them and have donated to their projects before.

Where your clients' plans stall

You hear these in sessions. They're not strategy problems, they're system problems, and they're what we build.

"I can't step back, everything comes through me."

Quoting, job sheets and approvals that only the owner can do. We put them in one system the team can use, so the business stops waiting on one person.

"I don't know the numbers until month-end."

Live reporting from the systems they already use, so the targets you set together are tracked without anyone rebuilding a spreadsheet.

"We spend a day a week on admin."

Chasing, copying between systems, generating the same documents. We automate the repeat work so the time goes back into growth.

"Only one person understands that spreadsheet."

How they price and run work, moved out of a fragile workbook and into a system the whole team can use.

One example

For a UK specialist supplier, we replaced a one-person quoting spreadsheet with a tool the whole team uses. A quote went from about 1–2 hours to about 5 minutes, and every quote now feeds their reporting.

See the impact of your coaching

Coaching changes how an owner runs the business, but it's hard to show in the numbers when the numbers take a week to pull together. Once their reporting is live, you can both see what moved: margins, turnaround times, the work the owner no longer does.

We've worked with clients of UK Business Mentoring on exactly this: their admin and reporting, so the businesses could see what their mentoring was changing, and the relationships lasted longer.

Something to pass on, free

Partners get a link to our guide, Connect ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot to your business systems, safely, that their clients can open without signing up. It's a useful thing to share in a session, with your name on it.

Who does what

Each side does the work it's already good at. You coach. We write the code.

You, the coach

  • ✓The client relationship and your coaching agreement
  • ✓Where the business is going, and the plan to get there
  • ✓Spotting where the plan is stuck on admin or reporting

Us, Streamlined Analytics

  • ✓The custom software, reporting or automation
  • ✓Hosting it and looking after it
  • ✓Our own fixed-price build contract with the client

The client

  • ✓Owns the code and the data
  • ✓Tells us what it needs, and signs off the build
  • ✓Keeps you as its coach

How an introduction runs

  1. 1

    You introduce the client

Forward one email, or bring us into a short call with them. You're welcome on the call.

  2. 2

We scope one piece of work

The problem holding the plan back, and a fixed price for it, agreed before anything starts.

  3. 3

    We build it

Around how the business already works, on its real jobs and data.

  4. 4

    It goes live

The team uses it, the numbers are live, and you carry on coaching with better information.

The boundaries, in full

These go into a short partner agreement. We'd lose every partner the first time we broke one.

  1. 1We don't offer coaching, mentoring or strategy advice to anyone, and we won't recommend another coach to a client you introduce.
  2. 2If we ever started offering coaching, we'd still not offer it to any client you introduce for 3 years from their introduction: a written non-compete.
  3. 3Later projects with that client earn you the same 15% for 24 months from the first introduction.
  4. 4You're paid within 14 days of the client paying us, to your company against an invoice.
  5. 5No exclusivity either way. Either side can end it on 30 days' notice, and fees already earned are still paid.

We recommend telling the client. Our proposal says you introduced them and receive a fee from us. It isn't required, but it costs nothing and protects the trust you've built.

A good fit if

  • ✓You coach or mentor owners of established UK businesses
  • ✓Your clients have roughly 10 to 200 staff
  • ✓You see plans stall on admin, quoting or reporting

Probably not a fit if

  • –Most of your clients are start-ups or sole traders.
  • –You coach individuals on life or career rather than businesses.
  • –You want exclusivity or a territory.

Questions coaches ask

Will you end up coaching my client? +

No. We don't coach, mentor or advise on strategy, for anyone. We build custom software, and that's all we do. If that ever changed, the partner agreement includes a 3-year non-compete for every client you introduce. You stay their coach, and with the client's agreement we keep you in the loop.

What kind of work do you build? +

The systems underneath a growing business: quoting and pricing tools, job tracking, live reporting, admin automation, document generation, and getting the systems they already use to share the same data. If an off-the-shelf product already fits, we'll say so.

How does it help me as their coach? +

Two ways. The changes you agree with the owner stop stalling on admin, because the manual work underneath is gone. And live reporting means you can both see the numbers move, so the impact of your coaching shows up in the business, not just in the conversation.

What does it cost the client? +

Our fixed-price builds start at £3,000, and the price is agreed before any work starts. Care plans start at £250 a month and are optional. Prices exclude VAT. Your fee comes out of our price, so the client pays the same either way.

How and when am I paid? +

15% of the build fee, paid within 14 days of the client paying us, to your company against an invoice. Later projects with the same client earn the same share for 24 months from the first introduction. If you'd rather not take a fee, we'll donate it to a charity instead.

Should I tell the client I'm paid for the introduction? +

We recommend it, and our proposal says you introduced them and receive a fee from us. It costs nothing, keeps the trust you've built, and protects you if they ask later.

You're a small firm. What if you disappear? +

The client owns the code and the data, and the source sits in their own repository with handover notes. It's built on open standards (Python, Postgres), so another developer can pick it up.
